Co-Founder | Aircraft Acquisition & Management Strategy

Nicholas Castellino is Co-Founder of Palm Beach Jets and brings deep aircraft acquisition, aviation operations, aircraft management, and pilot experience to the firm. A former professional pilot with nine jet type ratings, Nick became a partner in Mint Air in 2019 and has helped lead the purchase of more than 100 aircraft through the Mint Air platform. At Palm Beach Jets, he supports aircraft acquisition strategy, management planning, operator relationships, and long-term ownership advisory for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices.

Nicholas Castellino is Co-Founder of Palm Beach Jets, where he supports the firm's aircraft acquisition advisory, aviation operations, aircraft management, charter coordination, and ownership strategy platform.

Nick brings a rare combination of professional pilot experience, aircraft acquisition expertise, and aviation asset-management perspective. Before his work in aviation advisory and aircraft management strategy, Nick was a professional pilot and held nine jet type ratings, giving him direct operational understanding of aircraft performance, mission suitability, flight operations, crew considerations, aircraft capability, and the practical realities behind private aviation decisions.

In 2019, Nick became a partner in Mint Air, an aviation asset-management and aircraft leasing platform focused on aircraft acquisition, dry lease placement, operator relationships, and fleet execution. Through Mint Air, Nick has helped lead the purchase of more than 100 aircraft and gained direct experience across aircraft sourcing, acquisition strategy, purchase execution, operator integration, lease placement, fleet onboarding, and the management considerations that shape ownership outcomes.

That acquisition and asset-management background is central to Nick's role at Palm Beach Jets. He helps clients evaluate aircraft opportunities through a practical ownership and operational lens, not just from a sales, pricing, or aircraft-access perspective. His experience supports PBJ's work across buy-side aircraft acquisition advisory, aircraft management relationships, operator evaluation, aircraft suitability, ownership strategy, charter placement considerations, and long-term aviation planning.

Nick continues to advise ultra-high-net-worth individuals, aircraft buyers, owners, and family offices through Palm Beach Jets on aircraft acquisition strategy, purchase evaluation, management structure, operator relationships, and long-term ownership planning. His perspective is especially valuable for clients evaluating whether to acquire an aircraft, what aircraft category fits the mission, how to structure management, and how to think through operational and economic considerations before capital is committed.

Nick also has a long-standing business and aviation relationship with Alex Kowtun. He was Alex's partner in Wheels, Wings & Fashion, one of Florida's premier aviation and lifestyle events. The event brought together business jets, fighter jet trainers, exotic cars, powerboats, fashion, charity, sponsors, and high-net-worth attendees in a large-scale aviation-centered environment.

At Palm Beach Jets, Nick's role is focused on helping clients understand the operational and acquisition realities behind private aviation decisions. He supports the firm's commitment to independent representation, safety-oriented coordination, disciplined aircraft selection, management structure, cost transparency, operator review, and long-term aviation planning.
